It is amaising how can it be free-to-play with so much content in it?
The hero playing can either be a human, or hobbit, or elf.
What's really good about the free-to-pley version, is that it is still close to the story and the contect didn't change much comparing to the version of the Lord Of The Rings that came out in 2007. Now everyone will have a chance to look into the world of Tolkiens Middle-Earth!
